I agree and disagree with what this quote is saying. I believe that people should examine their life and the choices that they make to a certain point. I believe if people do not engage in this task they will end up repeating/making the same decisions that they have before. For some people this may be a good thing. But in regards to others it may be an entirely different situation. The only way to ensure that people do not make the same mistakes is to continually questioning the big choices that they make in their lives. However, I do not believe that people should question everything that happens in their lives. There is only so much control that they each of us have over our own lives and each others lives that sometimes we need to step back and let faith happen. Isn’t that the point of life anyways, to live it to its fullest, to experience everything that one person can in there life; and if everyone were to question every little thing that they did throughout their lives that would be analyzing your life, instead of enjoying it.
I agree with you about agreeing and disagreeing with the quote. I think that it's important to examine your life once in a while to make sure you're making the right decisions and not repeating the same mistakes, but on the other hand, some things need to be simply noticed and not questioned. There are things in life that just deserve to be appreciated without question or further investigation. We should accept that they are there for a reason. :)

I feel like this quote can be interpreted in so many different ways that one must look towards their morals and beliefs to be able to answer this conundrum.
ReplyDeleteAs for my personal opinion, I must also agree with Jackie and Katie that it depends on the situation and the context of an action that one should or should not question the action itself. I think that Jackie eloquently stated that "sometimes we [just] need to step back and let faith happen."

I agree with what Jacquelyn is saying I think that you have to enjoy life and not always examine the little things that happen, just accepting that it happened. I think that if we do start looking at every little thing that happened then we wouldn’t be able to really be ourselves because we would be waiting for the next little occurrence to happen, and we would just waiting our wholes lives for something to happen, waiting for someone or something else to determine how our lives are going to be. For me I think that life should be an adventure and sometimes we shouldn’t have goals we should go with the flow and let life happen.
